What if you invented your own genre?
Sometimes the hardest part is finding out who the hell you are and what you want. Going through writers block or imposter syndrome will usually do the trick for you, or just your own usual self sabotage. I am a visionary bedroom artist or living room artist or wherever the heck my table and computer fits artist, who blends avant-garde, ambient, theater, orchestral, electronic and hip hop elements. I guess you can say I make music that is innovative as well as emotional. I just barely released my first concept album in 2024, Experientia Dualitatis, and while doing so I decided to invent my own genre: Meta-Ambient, why not?
What does Experientia Dualitatis mean?
It means The Experience of Duality in Latin. All the titles of the album are actually in latin, I took a lot of inspiration from greek theatre, tarot card elements and mythology. You can see on the covers of each song a real tarot card, these were designed by Ina Audiereth, they are authentic cards from a deck she designed, be sure to check out her shop.
The concept of the album is DUALITY, therefore this EP musically describes a journey of self discovery through shadow work and the behind the scenes studying Carl Jung, Taoism or literature like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. You can also find this concept in the elements used; orchestration as well as electronic elements are present throughout the album.
All this was done with the end goal of finally achieving authenticity and freeing myself from any labels that myself or any others may project onto my artistry and expression.

What is Meta-Ambient?
I decided to call the music I have created Meta-Ambient because it doesn't only involve soundscapes but added elements like a soulful voice, poetic structures or spoken word. You can also feel influence from epic soundtracks or even dark techno and acid.
The etymological term Meta comes from the meaning Beyond or After. Ambient has been around for a long time, ever since Brian Eno, but in this stage of our dystopian like future, so much more can be created, a plethora of sounds can be included and there's no knowing what else might come next in the following years.
I would also like to mention Archangel Metatron. He has been guide in all this process, a true king of pulling the many strings of destiny for me to be able to birth this piece. Some may know him as Thot, and others as Trismegisto Hermes. Such spirituality and mental breakdowns have been key to the expression of Duality in all its facets.
